In 1985, after a 13-year tenure with CTC St. Maarten, George entered the realm of entrepreneurship, establishing Caribbean International Maritime NV (INTERMAR) and St. Maarten Shipping & Stevedoring NV (SSS).

In 2005, George’s commitment to integrity was evident as he negotiated the acquisition of Nichirei Carib NV from Nichirei Tokyo, expanding his business operations and significantly contributing to the local economy. Beyond his professional pursuits, his philanthropic activities underscore his dedication to assisting underprivileged children and families, with a focus on fairness and justice. Despite encountering setbacks, including natural disasters, George remains unwaveringly optimistic, confronting challenges with perseverance and a positive mindset.
