Miami, Florida – April 11, 2022 (Issuewire.com) – The Home Away from Home Taking Care of the Golden Age Foundation has received a brand-new bus, thanks to the generosity of George Pelgrim and St. Maarten Shipping & Stevedoring.
Established in 2003, the foundation is dedicated to assisting seniors and the elderly in St. Maarten, with a membership of over 125 individuals, including both active and homebound members.
Recognizing the challenges seniors face in accessing public transportation, The Golden Age Foundation has long sought solutions to improve mobility for its members, all of whom are over the age of 65. This donation will greatly enhance their ability to stay active and engaged in the community.
